UnPolka, indie princess Audrey Ryan from Bar Harbor and Boston ----TA DAAAAA!! wowed the judges last nite with her electronically looped accordian. This one-girl band banged her drum, cranked that guiitar and shook those maracas to cinch the River Rising Star finals. Check her out on www.myspace.com/audreyryan.   

Just introed Entrain at Andover Day. Freezingly great. Entrain, like the River, has gone green. Tom Major has retrofitted his Entrain van to run on veggie oil instead of diesel. So, if you have some leftover cooking grease,  package it up and put it on the Martha's Vineyard Ferry, address it to Tom and you'll be giving the band major gas in a good way.
