· WHY: Prostate cancer strikes 1 in 6 American men, making it now more common than breast cancer (which affects 1 in 8 women). However, men do not currently have an accurate diagnostic tool similar to life-saving mammograms for women. AdMeTech Foundation's "The Manogram Project" is aimed to develop and transfer a reliable imaging tool (a "Manogram") from labs to clinics, which is critical for properly diagnosing prostate cancer. This technology will save millions of men from undergoing blind treatment, save billions in health care costs and revolutionize men's health.
